Job summary

EY is seeking a Firewall Operations Solution Architect/Network Sensing Analyst to deploy and manage firewall and network sensing solutions across client environments. You will monitor traffic, analyze security events, and respond to incidents to protect networks while coordinating with cross-functional teams to improve security posture.

You will contribute to policy development, participate in audits, and stay current with evolving threats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in network security operations with firewall management focus.
• Hands‑on experience with firewall products and security monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
• Experience with Checkpoint and Tufin; familiarity with Splunk and Netography.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize firewall solutions to establish effective security controls.
• Monitor network traffic and security events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct thorough analysis of security incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain firewall policies, rules, and documentation to align with best practices and compliance requirements.
• Provide support for security audits and assessments, promoting adherence to security standards and policies.
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to enhance the organization’s security posture.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security awareness training for staff regarding firewall operations and network security best practices.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on firewall management and incident response processes.
