Job summary

EY is seeking a Firewall Operations Solution Architect/Network Sensing Analyst to deploy, configure, and manage firewall and network sensing solutions across client environments. You will monitor traffic, analyze events, and respond to incidents to uphold network security and integrity, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve security posture.

You will support change requests, assist with problem resolution, and stay current with threats and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in network security operations, focused on firewall management.
• Hands-on experience with firewall products required.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
• Certs such as CISSP or Security+ are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize firewall solutions to establish effective security controls.
• Monitor network traffic and security events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and remediation for security incidents.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to incidents.
• Develop and maintain firewall policies and documentation for compliance.
