Job summary

EY is seeking a Firewall Operations Solution Architect/Network Sensing Analyst to deploy, configure, and manage firewall and network sensing solutions across client environments. You will monitor traffic, analyze events, respond to incidents, and support change requests to uphold network integrity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture, staying current with threats and technologies, and contributing to security awareness trainings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in network security operations, focusing on firewall management.
• Hands-on experience with firewall products is required.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
• Experience with Checkpoint and Tufin; familiarity with Netography is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize firewall solutions to establish effective security controls.
• Monitor network traffic and security events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct analysis of security incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to incidents.
• Develop and maintain firewall policies, rules, and documentation to align with best practices and compliance.
• Support security audits and assessments; promote adherence to security standards and policies.
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
• Assist in security awareness training for staff on firewall operations and network security best practices.
• Mentor junior analysts on firewall management and incident response processes.
