Rural King is hiring a Firearms Sales Associate in Brunswick, GA. You will provide exceptional customer service, share in-depth knowledge of firearms and safety practices, and help customers select ammunition and related products.

You will ensure compliance with all laws, maintain a safe sales floor, process transactions, and stay updated on current firearm trends. Training and RK values guide daily work and interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; firearms safety training is a plus.
• Experience in firearms sales or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws for firearms sales and transfers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to listen, ask relevant questions, and provide clear responses.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems for transaction processing and record-keeping.
• Commitment to safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the department and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Engage customers to understand needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
• Provide expert guidance and unbiased recommendations on firearms and accessories.
• Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations governing firearms sales and transfers.
• Complete required firearm compliance training and demonstrate SOP understanding.
• Assist customers with ammunition, accessories, and related products.
• Maintain organized firearms displays with accurate labeling and pricing.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including paperwork.
• Stay informed on firearm trends and models for informed recommendations.
• Address customer questions promptly or escalate to supervisor as needed.
• Build long-term customer relationships for repeat business.
• Demonstrate product features, conduct demonstrations when necessary.
