Job summary

Bass Pro Outdoor World in Pearland, TX is seeking a Sales Outfitter - Firearms to assist customers at the Gun Counter, provide product knowledge, and help with purchasing decisions.

You will ensure 4473 forms are completed, stay current on firearms regulations, and promote store programs like CLUB membership and in-store pickup; the role includes standing, lifting, and maintaining the gun counter area.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of firearms and ammunition
• Knowledge of ATF federal and state regulations
• Customer service and sales of firearms and ammunition
• GCA (Gun Control Act) knowledge
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying needs and making buying decisions.
• Provide product recommendations based on customer analysis.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC and in-store pickup.
• Ensure 4473 forms are completed thoroughly and accurately.
• Maintain firearm counter area and keep pricing/signage accurate.
• Remain inventory organized and well stocked.
