Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a part-time Sales Outfitter - Firearms to provide counter sales and customer service for firearms and hunting merchandise. The role emphasizes greeting customers, identifying needs, selling products, and ensuring compliant firearms transactions.

The position requires 21+ with 0-2 years retail experience. Candidates should stay knowledgeable on products and company policies while delivering a safe shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Identify customer needs and make product recommendations.
• Promote programs (CLUB membership, VOC, In-Store Pick up).
• Ensure 4473 forms are completed accurately.
• Demonstrate products to customers and stay product knowledgeable.
• Organize and maintain firearms and hunting merchandise on the floor.
• Replenish stock and maintain pricing/signage.
• Follow policies and perform all other duties as assigned.
