Job summary

Scheels in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Firearms Sales Associate to actively greet customers, provide world class service, and assist with firearms questions and purchases.

This role requires you to be at least 21, complete paperwork (Form 4473, background checks), maintain safety, and meet sales goals while representing our ESOP-driven culture. You will learn product knowledge across ammunition, optics, and reloading and participate in training and store meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to process firearms purchases.
• High school diploma or GED and/or 1–3 months of cashiering experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete firearm sales paperwork, including Form 4473, licensing, and background checks.
• Demonstrate proper firearm safety and handling.
• Greet customers on the sales floor with courtesy and a smile.
• Grow personal sales by meeting minimum goals and upholding Scheels professional salesmanship standards.
• Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and explain all benefits.
• Engage with customers to assist them in buying decisions.
