Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, MO seeks a Team Leader to supervise department associates, directing daily activities in merchandising, inventory, pricing and customer service. You will assist in staff selection, scheduling, and training with emphasis on service excellence.

Responsibilities include guiding safe firearm handling, meeting sales goals, maintaining plan-o-grams, and coordinating events while ensuring friendly, efficient customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years in retail sales experience with supervision a plus.
• Experience in firearms retail or compliance is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead department associates to deliver merchandise presentation, pricing, stocking and customer service.
• Direct sales efforts and ensure compliance with ATF/state/local laws and company policies.
• Assist in achieving department sales, gross margin, inventory and payroll goals.
• Coach and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service and a legendary shopping experience.
