Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Nashville, TN is seeking a Team Leader to manage a firearms department and lead a team of Sales Outfitters. You will ensure merchandise presentation, inventory control, pricing, and exceptional customer service while aligning with company policies and legal requirements.

You will coordinate staffing, coach associates, and support achievement of sales and profitability goals under supervision of the Group Sales/Department Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years in retail sales experience.
• Supervisor experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs department associates in daily activities including merchandising, inventory control, pricing, stocking and customer service.
• Leads firearm sales activities in compliance with ATF/state/local laws and company policies.
• Achieves departmental sales, gross margin, inventory and payroll goals with GSM/DM support.
• Coaches and trains staff; interviews and assists in scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Maintains product knowledge, conducts demos, coordinates events, and ensures pricing and UPC accuracy.
