Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Nashville is seeking a Sales Outfitter - Firearms to maintain counter sales and customer service for firearms and hunting merchandise.

You will greet customers, provide information, demonstrate products when needed, and help maintain organized firearm counters and pricing. This role requires a high school diploma and 0–2 years in retail, with strict adherence to ATF regulations and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of firearms and ammunition
• Knowledge of ATF Federal and State Regulations
• Customer service and sales of firearms and ammunition
• GCA
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise

Responsibilities

• Maintain counter sales and customer service for firearms and hunting merchandise
• Identify customer needs and make product recommendations
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC and in-store pickup
• Ensure compliance with 4473 forms and safety procedures
• Keep firearm area organized, clean, and stocked
• Assist with merchandising and floor moves as needed
• Follow company policies and procedures
