Bass Pro Shops in Leeds, AL seeks a Retail Manager for the Firearms department to ensure compliance with ATF, state and federal laws, and company policies while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role includes supervising staff, merchandising firearms, inventory control, pricing, and training to create a safe, compliant and customer‑focused shopping experience in a high‑regulation environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years in Retail Management that includes firearms safe handling practices.
• Skilled in the accurate ID of firearms and ammunition, as well as their classification and mechanical operation.

Responsibilities

• Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Executes all sales plans to meet or exceed financial plans as set by the company.
• Opens and Closes the Store and has responsibility for building keys and alarm codes.
• Obtains 'Manager on Duty' responsibilities.
• Leads firearm compliance sales standards in the Firearms department to ensure compliance with ATF, state, local laws, company policies and procedures.
