Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Retail Manager - Firearms to supervise the firearms department and ensure compliance with ATF, state and federal laws. The role includes staff development, merchandising, inventory control, and delivering a world class customer experience.

The candidate will lead firearms safety, operate within company policies, and collaborate with Gun Vault Specialist Team to maintain standards and training. This is a full-time, on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 3–5 years in Retail Management including firearms safe handling practices and accurate ID of firearms/ammunition.

Responsibilities

• Supervise firearms department operations and ensure ATF/state compliance.
• Lead staffing, interviewing, training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Maintain firearms merchandising and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Provide superior customer service and assist customers in buying decisions.
• Open/close store operations and manage alarms/keys as needed.
