Job summary

Scheels is seeking Gun Customer Service associates in Minnesota to create a welcoming shopping environment, process transactions, and ensure compliance with firearm laws. All associates must be at least 21 years old due to firearm processing requirements.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, driving personalized service, processing firearm transactions, and upholding ESOP-affiliated ownership culture with strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months of cashiering experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age due to firearm compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with a smile when entering and exiting the store.
• Engage customers with personalized service and promote the digital receipt program.
• Accurately scan items and ensure proper rung through and paid for.
• Bag purchases carefully and help others at checkout.
• Promote Scheels Visa card and explain benefits.
• End each transaction with a thank-you to customers.
• Process firearm returns and exchanges.
• Complete firearm background checks.
• Assist with Gun Room housekeeping.
• Follow all ATF federal laws and guidelines.
• Execute technology-based firearm and/or suppressor transactions as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
