Job summary

South Adams County Fire Protection District 4 (CO) seeks a Facilities and Logistics Specialist to oversee the logistics, maintenance, and operation of training props, equipment, and grounds. You will develop preventive maintenance programs for SCBA gear and coordinate with training staff.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, inventory control, and strong communication to ensure compliance with NFPA standards across training facilities and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• 5+ years’ experience in fire service, construction or facilities management.
• Willingness to work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee logistics, maintenance, and efficiency of training props and grounds.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance for SCBA equipment and repairs on gear.
• Coordinate logistics with training staff and operate heavy machinery daily.
• Maintain inventory system for consumables and fixed assets.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards for training facilities and equipment.
