Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking Fire Designer I–III professionals to design building systems in coordination with project teams. You will prepare layouts, schematics, and design documents, while mentoring junior staff and supporting client interactions.

The role requires Revit and Bluebeam proficiency and a focus on code compliance. Applicants should have a relevant engineering degree and FE exam familiarity; PE license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field.
• FE exam preferred; PE license preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design basic to advanced building systems in coordination with project teams.
• Prepare layouts, drawings and schematics; review shop drawings.
• Mentor less experienced designers and support project management when needed.
• Support business development and client coordination activities.
• Stay updated on industry codes, standards and Henderson's guidelines.
