Henderson Engineers in the United States seeks a Fire Engineering Manager to lead a discipline-wide team, oversee design and project execution, and mentor engineers and designers. You will coordinate staffing, maintain quality, and collaborate with leadership to meet sector goals.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, client communication, and continuous improvement across complex building systems. PE eligibility may be preferred and experience with Revit/Bluebeam is valuable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of relevant progressive experience.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Proven ability to lead engineers and designers and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Leads and mentors a team of engineers and designers within the assigned sector, promoting high performance.
• Acts as hiring manager and career coach, guiding skills development and interviews.
• Oversees project staffing, schedules, and progress to meet scope and budget objectives.
• Provides coaching and conducts performance discussions to support goal setting.
