Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring a Suppression Installer / Service Technician to inspect, service, troubleshoot, repair, and install fire suppression systems including portable extinguishers and kitchen hood systems. You will work with customers to ensure systems operate safely and in compliance with codes, while delivering technical expertise.

The role requires reading schematics, performing routine service tasks, and documenting deficiencies and repairs, with local travel and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with gas suppression systems desired.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel locally.
• Must be 18+ years old and follow safety procedures.
• NICET II certification and clean agent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, maintain and repair fire suppression systems (portable extinguishers, kitchen hood, clean agent, gas).
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and manuals to support installations and programming.
• Provide professional customer service and accurate documentation of service activities.
