Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance and repair on portable fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems and suppression gas systems at customer sites in Horsham, PA.

You will read blueprints, troubleshoot, and collaborate with customers and on-call teams, with a focus on safety and compliance. A valid US driver’s license is required and strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Outstanding customer-facing service and problem-solving skills.
• PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Any manufacturer certifications is a plus; ANSUL, Kiddie PyroChem
• Valid US driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems at customer sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics and manuals.
• Manage daily service call, customer activity and program system products.
• Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Participation in an on-call rotation for Emergency Service.
• Performs inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.
