Johnson Controls is seeking a Business Development Manager for Fire Suppression on the East Coast to drive demand, influence specifications, and grow the market across the region. You will build trusted relationships with consultants, architects, engineers, end users, contractors, and partners to shape design decisions and advance major project opportunities.
The role emphasizes strategic sales, technical fluency in fire suppression technologies, and collaboration with regional sales,
Formación
- 7+ years in fire suppression or related technical sales/business development.
- Experience influencing specifications with consultants, architects, and engineers.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and fire protection codes is preferred.
Responsabilidades
- Drive demand and specification activity for fire suppression across the Eastern U.S.
- Develop territory strategies and manage large project opportunities from early spec through award.
- Deliver technical seminars, product demos, and industry presentations.
- Build relationships with AHJs, engineers, and end users to influence design decisions.
- Collaborate with product management and field teams to address customer needs.
