Job summary

YDU JC Air Cond & Ref Inc.- Dubai is seeking a technician to perform servicing, repair, and recharging of fire extinguishers and hoses. This role involves physical labor and requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

The compensation is competitive, with an hourly rate ranging from $16.44 to $22.59 based on experience and education. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package available from day one.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled servicing, repair, and recharging of hand portable fire extinguishers, wheeled units, and kitchen suppression cylinders.
• Perform hydrostatic testing and repair of fire hoses.
• Assist on‑road technicians with a variety of required work.
• Perform deliveries/pickup at customer locations and suppliers where required.
• Pick orders to prepare for shipping.
• Receive and put stock away in designated areas.
• Maintain general cleanliness throughout the shop and work area.
• Repair service equipment where required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment background check.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Self‑starter, able to work with little to no supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and quick learning ability.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $16.44 – $22.59, commensurate with experience, education, and market data. This role includes a competitive benefits package.
