Job summary
Fortis Fire & Safety is seeking a Fire Suppression & Extinguisher Department Manager to provide strategic leadership for the suppression department. This role oversees P&L, quality control, regulatory compliance, and team development to grow the business while keeping facilities safe and code-compliant.
The position requires 5+ years in service-operations management, supervisory experience, and NFPA knowledge; NICET certifications are preferred.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in service-based operations management across multiple facilities.
- Fire life safety experience including extinguishers and suppression systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily scheduling, dispatching, and routing efficiency for field service technicians.
- Maintain accountability for department revenue,利润 and operating budgets.
- Conduct field audits to ensure workmanship, safety, and NFPA compliance.
- Lead recruitment, coaching, and performance reviews of staff.
- Coordinate with AHJ and contractors during handoffs and project closeouts.
