Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled technicians to install and service suppression extinguishing equipment for kitchen hoods, paint booths and other engineered clean agent systems across high-tech and heavy industrial industries.

You will complete installation of fire alarm electrical and fire protection piping, valves, and accessories for commercial and industrial applications, while following safety policies and delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience reading, interpreting and identifying field conflicts on mechanical/sprinkler installation drawings.
• Professional communication with customers.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to carry/move equipment up to 70 lbs and work in ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment.
• Willingness to travel long distances and work alternate shifts/on-call.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; trade school degree/certificate preferred.
• Fitters card or license.
