Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is hiring a Fire Sprinkler Technician to lay out, fabricate, install and maintain fire sprinkler systems and piping. The role involves reading blueprints, calculating material needs, and ensuring work meets specifications.

The position requires 3–5 years of installation experience, a valid fire sprinkler license, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Local travel and safety compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required; Advanced technical training preferred; Current Fire Sprinkler License required.
• 3–5 years’ experience installing pipe systems and valves; 5+ years preferred.
• Must read/write English and communicate with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Install pipe systems and valves according to blueprints and specs.
• Cut, thread, assemble and bond piping and tubes.
• Maintain and replace worn components; follow safety policies.
• Mentor Apprentices and Helpers on installation techniques.
• Ensure company vehicle is clean and maintained.
