Job summary

Marmic Fire and Safety is seeking a dedicated Sprinkler Inspection Technician to install, inspect, and repair fire sprinkler systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

You will conduct thorough inspections, document findings, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate major repairs while ensuring NFPA standards and safety practices are followed. The role requires strong teamwork and reliable communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong organizational, documentation, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with employees and vendors.
• Ability to speak and write in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, welding, and soldering equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings, with ongoing compliance throughout employment.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and moving equipment over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems for compliance with local, state, and national codes.
• Identify and document system deficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs; coordinate major repairs or upgrades.
• Install and assemble piping, select pipe sizes, and prepare for system work.
• Create layout drawings and modify existing sprinkler systems to meet standards.
• Maintain detailed inspection and maintenance records and prepare client reports.
• Communicate inspection results and recommendations to clients.
• Follow safety standards and company policies.
