Job summary

Marmic Fire & Safety Co. is seeking a skilled Sprinkler Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems across residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

You will perform tests to NFPA standards, identify deficiencies, and implement improvements to ensure reliable fire protection. The role requires reading blueprints, performing routine maintenance, and coordinating with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and install/repair piping.
• Proficiency with hand tools, welding, and soldering.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and testing of sprinkler systems for code compliance.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs to ensure performance.
• Install and assemble piping systems per specifications.
• Create layout drawings and modify existing systems.
• Document inspection results and prepare client reports.
• Explain results to clients and advise on improvements.
• Adhere to safety standards and company procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve inspection processes.
