Job summary

Marmic Fire and Safety Co. is seeking a Sprinkler Technician Lead to plan, lead, and execute installation and servicing of sprinkler systems across commercial and industrial projects.

You will guide technicians, ensure compliance with industry standards and codes, and mentor staff to meet project goals. The role requires directing daily operations, coordinating with departments, and maintaining high-quality service while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation and service.
• Strong communication, presentation, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Goal-oriented with the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent administrative, time management, and analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle the pressures of the job.
• Willingness to travel overnight as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment background and substance abuse screenings, and continue to pass them throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the work of sprinkler fitters and technicians, ensuring efficient and timely project execution.
• Administer and supervise technicians to ensure they meet their monthly performance goals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local codes and company policies.
• Oversee project locations and processes to meet company objectives.
• Develop strategies for efficient sprinkler service installations and repairs.
• Support new business opportunities and trade programs within the company.
• Lead the team daily to ensure optimal performance and timelines.
• Collaborate with other departments and communicate with administration as needed.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance during all work phases.
• Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction, resolving issues promptly.
• Travel to client sites as required.
