Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring an apprentice who will assist the foreman in installing wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems at job sites. You'll follow all safety policies, maintain documentation, and adhere to apprenticeship standards while learning under Grinnell's approved program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to job sites and classroom instruction.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist foreman in installation of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain proper documentation for work performed.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and operate equipment as needed.
• Carry/move equipment up to 70lbs and perform physical labor.
• Work in ladders, scaffolding, and high lift environments safely.
