Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice in New Cumberland, PA. This full-time role requires installation support for wet, dry, pre-action and deluge sprinkler systems, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks while staying organized on site.

Enroll in Grinnell's Apprenticeship Program to meet ongoing requirements. Candidates should be at least 18, hold a valid driver's license, and be able to communicate effectively in English, both

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in Grinnell's approved Apprenticeship Program
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a Valid Driver's License
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Assist foreman in the installation of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems
• Follow all safety policies
• Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs
• Perform work in difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Support the apprenticeship program requirements
