Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Shift Captain in Indiana to expand your fire career. The role offers $26.35/hour and a 24 on/48 off schedule, plus mandatory Firefighter II, Hazmat Operations, confined space and high angle rescue qualifications, and EMT/EMR status. You will supervise Emergency Response Officers and coordinate fire prevention at the plant.

You will liaise with outside agencies and manage fire systems maintenance and testing while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license for state of application; 18+ for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation and pre-employment drug/alcohol test required.
• Must maintain active licenses while on duty.
• State-level fit test and NFPA physical.
• If not EMT/EMR, training to First Responder level may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and safety procedures; emergency response as needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations.
• Conduct regular patrols around client site and perimeter; adapt to client requirements.
