Job summary

Allied Universal is currently seeking a Full Time Security Shift Lieutenant in Burns Harbor, IN. The Lieutenant oversees contractor security and Emergency Response Officers on shift, reporting to the Captain and acting as Incident Commander when needed.

Qualifications include Indiana Firefighter II, Hazmat Operations Level, EMT/EMR, and supervisory experience, with a high school diploma and required licenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• For driving positions, must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license.
• As a condition of employment, background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test are required.
• Must maintain required licenses at all times while on duty.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills for wireless client site tech.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce safety and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
