Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking two skilled Service Technicians to join our Knoxville, TN team, specializing in security and fire systems. Responsibilities include responding to service calls, diagnosing issues, and repairing low-voltage systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with codes and standards.

We value strong troubleshooting, customer service, and the ability to work independently. Start time is 8:00 AM on site, with 40 hours per week and potential overtime based on workload.

Qualifications

• Experience as a service technician in the low-voltage, security, or fire alarm industry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic security and/or fire alarm systems.
• Strong understanding of system components, wiring, and device functionality.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete approximately three service tickets per day.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain low-voltage security and life safety systems.
• Service and support: Access Control Systems, CCTV / Video Surveillance Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, Fire Alarm Systems.
• Conduct system testing, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Document service activities and complete work orders accurately.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding findings, repairs, and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements.
