Job summary

The Hiller Companies is seeking a New Service Seller to drive new business in fire protection and life safety services in the Mobile, AL area. You will survey, quote, and sell our full range of products and services while educating customers on value and safety.

Typical responsibilities include qualifying leads, maintaining records, submitting forecasts, and coordinating with the service team. A base salary plus commissions rewards performance, with location-based starting salary factors.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire and life safety industry or service sales is preferred.
• 3–5 years of outside B2B sales experience with a track record of closing sales.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Call on new and existing customers to survey, promote, quote, and sell fire protection products, systems, and services.
• Qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling sales calls and educating customers on our offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of sales calls and activities; submit forecasts and expenses on time.
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy for each account; close sales to meet goals.
• Coordinate with service department for scheduling work after sale.
