Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC, headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, is seeking a New Service Seller to drive new business by surveying, promoting, and selling our fire protection products, systems, and services. The role emphasizes educating customers on service offerings and building strategic accounts.

You will manage sales calls, forecasts, and timelines, while coordinating with the Service Department to schedule work after sale. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in the fire and life safety industry.
• 3–5 years of proven B2B outside sales experience; service sales preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred with relevant work experience; High School Diploma acceptable.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Call on new and existing customers to survey, promote, quote, and sell fire protection products, systems, and services.
• Qualify buyers of service contracts by scheduling calls and educating customers on offerings.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales calls and activities.
• Submit forecasts and expenses in a timely manner.
• Determine customer needs and develop a tailored sales strategy for each account.
• Close sales to achieve assigned sales goals.
• Maintain quotes in the Service Trade Software Platform; coordinate with Service Department for scheduling.
