Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and grow the sales department in the Charleston area. You will hire, train, and coach local sales managers, set territories and quotas, and drive profitable growth through data-driven strategies and strong customer engagement.

You will collaborate with upper management to shape sales plans, analyze performance, and ensure targets are met. This role emphasizes leadership, communication, and a hands-on approach to market expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent record.
• 3+ years of sales leadership experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hires and trains local sales managers and staff.
• Oversee schedules, territories and performance of regional/local sales managers.
• Motivate sales team to meet quotas and drive results.
• Analyze sales and operations data to project profitability and targets.
• Identify customer needs and align products/services accordingly.
• Set territories and quotas with regional guidance.
• Resolve customer issues impacting sales efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership on quotas and strategies.
• Prepare and monitor sales budget and expenses.
