Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Fire Science or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 10 years in Fire Safety/related field, including at least 5 years firefighting experience.
• Experience with 3rd party agencies and vendors.
• Direct activities and personnel in fire safety systems per policy and NFPA standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct activities and personnel involved in fire safety equipment and systems at Savannah facilities.
• Inspect, maintain, and ensure operability of all fire systems, alarms, and safety equipment.
• Ensure fire detection and alarm systems are operational and compliant with standards.
• Plan, implement, and coordinate fire system programs to minimize damage from incidents.
• Partner with management to mitigate property damage and loss.
• Monitor compliance programs to meet corporate and regulatory standards.
