GEO Secured Services in the United States seeks a Fire and Safety Manager to lead facility safety and loss prevention programs. You will ensure compliance with safety regulations and guide facility management.

Responsibilities include overseeing safety training, inspections, incident investigations, and coordination with emergency responders, NFPA, OSHA, and FEMA guidelines to maintain a safe, compliant operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational/industrial health and safety or equivalent.
• Certification in fire and safety procedures within two years of entry.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA and NFPA safety laws and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and site plans.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and enforces safety policies across the facility.
• Develops local safety procedures for employees, inmates, and visitors.
• Conducts regular safety inspections of the plant, equipment, and vehicles.
• Provides safety training for staff, inmates, and residents as needed.
• Manages PPE use, sanitation, and hygiene standards facility-wide.
• Investigates accidents and near-misses, prepares reports with corrective actions.
• Ensures OSHA log accuracy and analyzes accident trends.
