Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Service Technician I focused on Instrument, Fire, and Respiratory safety services. You will inspect, test, maintain and repair safety equipment for customers on a scheduled basis, ensuring compliance with standards.

The role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, tools proficiency, and a valid driver's license. You will work in varied environments, indoors and outdoors, and support warehouse and field operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• 1+ years related experience required.
• Certifications (manufacturer or state) preferred.
• Mechanically inclined and able to perform maintenance tasks.
• Experience with inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of safety equipment.
• Must have a valid Motor Vehicle License; CDL if hazardous material is carried.

Responsibilities

• Conduct service calls.
• Identify equipment discrepancies.
• Prepare accurate Technician Worksheets and reports.
• Provide service for life safety equipment including extinguishers, hoses, detectors, respiratory gear, fall protection, showers/eyewashes.
