Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Service Technician I focused on Instrument, Fire, and Respiratory safety services. You will perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on safety equipment for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Responsibilities include conducting service calls, identifying discrepancies, preparing worksheets, and ensuring documentation for invoicing while maintaining compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and Vallen SOPs. Able to work indoors/outdoors with safety focus.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 1 certification (manufacturer/state).
• Minimum 1 year related experience.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to use hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Conducting service calls.
• Identifying equipment discrepancies.
• Preparing accurate Technician Worksheets (TWS) and reports.
• Providing customer service in the area of Inspecting, Testing, Maintenance and Repairs of Life Safety Equipment.
• Responsible for documentation for invoicing and ensuring customers have copies of all required documents.
• Ensure compliance with State, OSHA, NFPA regulations and Vallen SOPs.
• Maintain safety and proper asset handling; assist in shipping/receiving as needed.
