Job summary

Shambaugh & Son, L.P. seeks a Fire Protection Sales Representative to grow our Fire Protection division across Central Illinois.

You will cultivate relationships with contractors and facility owners, identify opportunities, and guide projects from estimate to completion. The ideal candidate has a background in construction sales, fire protection, or related industries and can read blueprints while understanding NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Strong understanding of fire protection concepts and industry standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret NFPA codes.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and contractors in office and job sites to develop opportunities.
• Build and manage sales for the Fire Protection division in Central Illinois.
• Prepare estimates and proposals; convert opportunities into orders.
• Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure project execution.
• Develop long-term relationships with contractors, facility owners, and end users.
