Job summary

Shambaugh & Son is seeking a Fire Protection Sales Representative to grow our Fire Protection division across Central Illinois, including Peoria. You will drive sales, manage accounts, visit sites, prepare estimates, and help clients select optimal fire protection solutions for their facilities.

The role combines sales, business development, and customer relationship management, requiring self-motivation and strong industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3 years of fire alarm sales preferred.
• NICET in fire alarm systems preferred.
• Experience with FIKE, Edwards and Notifier preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and system layouts preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and coordinate with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and contractors on-site and in offices.
• Build and manage division sales.
• Estimate small and large projects.
• Read blueprints and NFPA standards.
• Develop long-term customer relationships.
• Close sales to meet or exceed targets.
