Job summary

Shambaugh & Son, L.P. is seeking a motivated Fire Protection Sales Representative to drive growth in Central Illinois.

The role blends sales, business development, estimating, and client relationship management to serve contractors, facility owners, and industrial customers across Champaign, Danville, Bloomington, Peoria, Decatur, Springfield, and nearby areas. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, customer-focused, and experienced in construction sales, fire protection, mechanical

Qualifications

• 3 years of fire alarm sales preferred

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and contractors both in office and job sites
• Build and manage sales for the division
• Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain understanding of offerings
• Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives
• Familiar with reading blueprints and NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 72 standards and local codes
• Develop positive ongoing relationships with customers, contractors, and end users
• Estimate small and large projects
• Grow the Fire Alarm Business by building new associations/relationships
• Other duties as required
