Getz Fire Equipment Company in Bettendorf, IA is seeking a Fire Protection Sales professional to estimate and sell fire alarm and fixed special hazards suppression systems. You will also inspect contracts for these systems and other fire protection services, while learning NFPA/IBC codes and AHJ requirements.

Build and manage customer relationships across your territory, prepare accurate estimates and proposals, and travel up to 25% as the territory requires.

Qualifications

• Above-average interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems.
• Good time management, multi-tasking, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to be a team player and a strong sales/technical mindset.
• Sales or technical experience in engineering, construction, electrical or mechanical installation is a plus.
• NICET certification preferred but not required; college in related field preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening for safety-sensitive role.

Responsabilités

• Estimate and sell fire alarm and fixed special hazards systems.
• Sell inspection contracts for those systems and other services.

• Travel up to 25% overnight as territory requires.
