Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Project Manager to plan and coordinate fire protection projects, serving as the main contact with contractors and owners. You will review drawings, generate change orders, determine labor, and track schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Responsibilities include meeting with AHJs and design professionals, monitoring progress, and producing final closeout documents.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ industry experience in project management.
• Experience leading multiple projects with profitability emphasis.
• Must read/write English and communicate with customers.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to comply with drug/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings, contract drawings, specifications, and standards to determine installation methods.
• Generate proposals for change orders, and as assigned.
• Determine labor requirements and prepare schedules, track changes.
• Order and track material, equipment, tools, and other items based on design/contract needs.
• Review time for assigned projects to ensure alignment with budget.
• Monitor progress and prepare job records.
• Meet with AHJs, contractors, owners, architects, and design professionals on project progress.
