Job summary

Total Fire Protection is expanding rapidly and seeks a Project Manager to oversee fire and life safety system projects nationwide. You will drive project execution from kickoff to closeout, ensuring on-time delivery, within scope and budget, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in fire protection or construction, with strong communication skills and travel to NY metro sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of project management experience in fire protection or construction.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection systems and codes.
• Proficiency in project management software (Asana, Wrike, Trello, Microsoft Project).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites in the NY Metro area (including New Jersey).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end project activities.
• Develop detailed project plans and manage timelines.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct design and scope reviews.
• Monitor progress and resolve field issues.
• Oversee procurement and subcontractor coordination.
• Manage budgets and financial forecasting.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
• Champion safety and quality.
