B & C Fire Safety Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our fire protection services. The role partners with the General Manager and department managers to optimize workflows, policy adherence, and profitability.

You will drive efficiency, implement streamlined processes across sales, scheduling, service, inspections, and billing, and ensure departments meet revenue goals. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience within the fire protection industry.
• Previous management or operations leadership experience.
• Understanding of how departments within a full-service fire protection company work together.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and improve processes and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Comfortable working with multiple software platforms and technology.
• Ability to analyze departmental performance and drive accountability toward revenue goals.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist the General Manager to manage and improve overall operations.
• Work with department managers to establish, maintain, and improve policies, procedures, workflows, and accountability.
• Ensure each department operates efficiently toward monthly revenue goals.
• Monitor performance and resolve issues hindering revenue and operations targets.
• Leverage fire protection industry knowledge to improve processes and inform decisions.
• Understand cross-department workflow from sales/estimating through scheduling, service, inspections, projects, billing, and follow-up.
• Stay current with industry practices and day-to-day challenges faced by fire protection companies.
• Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement in workflows and processes.
• Utilize company software to streamline processes, improve communication, and reduce duplicate work.
• Develop solutions, automations, and reports to boost efficiency.
• Ensure consistency of processes across departments.
• Set clear expectations, accountability, and measurable goals with managers.
• Support the General Manager on company-wide initiatives and strategic priorities.
• Continuously evaluate operations to improve efficiency, productivity, customer service, and profitability.
