Job summary

Viking Fire Protection Group in Omaha, NE is seeking a Fire Protection Inspector to test and inspect fire and life safety systems, including alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, backflow preventers and related equipment. • Mechanical and math aptitude required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade experience preferred; at least 2 years' trade experience a plus.
• Valid state Driver’s License required.
• NICET Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect fire and life safety systems (alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, backflow, special hazards).
• Provide accurate inspection reports with documentation of improvements and deficiencies.
• Assist in selling VFPG services for any identified deficiencies.
