Job summary

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Fire Protection Inspector to perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarm systems across customer sites.

Travel to locations is required, with inspections conducted from lifts at heights of 30 to 40 feet when necessary. The role emphasizes documenting inspections, maintaining compliance with NFPA guidelines, and ensuring timely submission of reports and tickets.

Qualifications

• NICET LV 1 certification (ITWBS) is required or preferred.
• Backflow license is required; minimum 3 years' experience as sprinkler inspector.
• NFPA 25 inspections on various water-based systems (wet, dry, deluge, pre-action, pumps).
• NFPA 72 inspections on fire alarm systems preferred.
• High school diploma or GED; technical school is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems at customer sites.
• Navigate inspections from man lifts at elevations 30–40 feet when needed.
• Complete and submit inspection reports and tickets promptly.
