Job summary

S.A. Comunale is hiring a Fire Protection Inspector to perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems and fire alarm systems.

This role requires travel to customer sites and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment focused on customer development, quality, and NFPA compliance. Essential duties include troubleshooting wet systems, conducting inspections from elevated lifts, and submitting timely inspection reports.

Qualifications

• NICET LV1 certification (ITWBS) preferred.
• Backflow license required; sprinkler inspector with 3+ years' experience.
• NFPA 25 inspections on wet, dry, deluge, pre-action, and pumps.
• NFPA 25 inspections on standpipe systems and hydrants.
• NFPA 72 inspections on fire alarm systems a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fire protection systems from lifts at 30–40 ft elevations.
• Perform annual NFPA inspections of domestic and fire water back flows.
• Monitor progress and complete assigned inspection tasks timely.
• Submit all inspection reports and tickets to admin promptly.
• Self-schedule daily inspections and coordinate with customers.
