Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking an Inspector to inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems, pumps, and backflows with minimal supervision. You will record deficiencies, coordinate inspections, and communicate with customers and monitoring companies to ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, HS diploma, and relevant NICET/state certifications. On-site work with travel and on-call commitments is expected.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required; NICET/state certification preferred based on location.
• 3–5 years’ experience inspecting fire protection systems; 5+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA codes.
• Record and report deficiencies to SFS and customers.
• Communicate professionally with customers and offsite monitoring companies.
• Operates tools for inspections and maintains equipment.
• Coordinate inspections and be available for on-call emergency requests.
