Job summary

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Project Manager to create job schedules, coordinate tools and fabrication, and manage project personnel and labor efficiency. The role represents the company at progress meetings and initiates change orders to keep projects on track.

The position requires 3+ years in fire protection, NFPA knowledge, and strong MS Office skills, with a preference for an accredited engineering degree. Excellent organizational ability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years experience in the fire protection industry, working in sales, estimating, project management, and/or design is required.
• Extensive knowledge of NFPA and industry standards is required.
• Significant experience with Microsoft Office applications is required.
• A degree from an accredited college or university is a plus.
• Ability to think strategically, make sound decisions, and produce accurate and timely results.

Responsibilities

• Accurately define project requirements and create job schedules.
• Coordinate the delivery of tools and fabrication.
• Identify and manage the personnel assigned to each project and track their labor efficiency.
• Represent the company at job progress meetings and initiate change orders.
• Complete contract progress billings and estimate remaining cost-to-complete for monthly WIP reporting.
• Manage day-to-day operations of assigned projects to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
• Serve as the main client contact for assigned projects and coordinate with foremen daily.
